KNEIFE, born
and raised in Paris, "His
passion had become his profession." |
- Riad was
raised near the flea market of Vanves. This might
explain why he has started, when he was 10 years
old, collecting black and white postcards of the
1900’s and therefore spending much of his
free time roaming around the various markets. This
is how he developed his love for Antiques and Art,
and it has never stopped until this day…
- Riad studied
International Economy, but really fulfilled his
dream when he entered the famous “Ecole du
Louvre” to study art and history of art. It
has given him the comprehensive knowledge and a
very sharp eye. He then started working as an art
dealer, specialized in 18th and 19th century furniture
and paintings, at the Saint Ouen flea market –
in fact, the world’s biggest antique market!
- For many
years now, Riad, who is fluent in English, has been
advising and taking customers on Antique Buying
tours to all the French flea markets and sales.
Amongst his customers are antique lovers, dealers
and decorators.
